Through our Community Allies Volunteer Program, volunteers provide essential support to help MART achieve its mission. Volunteers receive an overview of the organization, guidance during their activities, and the resources to succeed. Their dedication and compassion make all the difference in helping refugees feel welcome and empowered in their new home.

Our Community Allies Volunteer Program is dedicated to achieving this vision through a variety of activities designed to support and uplift refugees. Volunteers engage in numerous initiatives, including:

Since its inception, our volunteer program has made significant strides in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for refugees in Manhattan. We have built strong partnerships with local organizations, facilitated the integration of numerous refugee families, and cultivated a sense of belonging within our community.
