In November 2021, (MART) entered into an agreement with (CCNEK) to serve as the Community Sponsor organization for Manhattan and surrounding areas. This agreement is specific to the new federal (APA) Afghan Assistance Placement program. 

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Manhattan Afghan Resettlement Team (MART) is to equitably coordinate a comprehensive set of services required to successfully resettle Afghan allies in the community through the efforts of an all-volunteer team.

 

Services may include safe housing, basic furnishings and clothing, and access to health care, social services, education and employment resources.
