Lisa HoldenLisa is the accountant and helps preparing the financial statements, record keeping, payroll management, taxes and compliance.

Malary TajchmanMalary is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs including Employability, English Language Training, Health Promotion & Mental Health Initiative, and Adjustment & Referrals. She manages program reporting, data tracking, and community partnerships to promote effective implementation and client participation across all program areas.

Melynda CashmanMelynda is responsible for receiving volunteer applications, interviewing potential volunteers, and scheduling orientation sessions. She manages communication by keeping volunteers informed about upcoming opportunities, and writing a monthly newsletter to engage volunteers with the organization’s activities and updates.

Michelle McRayMichelle is the English instructor under the English Language Training program.

Virginia RodriguezVirginia serves as the Executive Director, overseeing all aspects of the non-profit’s operations, including strategic planning, fiscal management, community relations advocacy, operational efficiency, and program management, all in compliance with the Kansas Office of Refugees (KSOR)

Our Team's PurposeSince our founding in 2021, Manhattan Area Resettlement Team has helped hundreds of individuals and families in the Manhattan. From providing emergency assistance to helping people find stable housing, we are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done, and we are committed to continuing our efforts.
